Upon conversion, the PDF will lose any special formatting and will look like a typical text document. After conversion, you can change the font size, annotate the PDF and have the text of the PDF read to you using the Text-to-Speech option. If you are having difficulty reading the PDF on your Kindle, convert it to Kindle format by emailing the PDF to your Kindle email address with the word " Convert" in the subject line. Rotate the PDF to enhance viewing of diagrams or photos by pressing the " Aa" button on the keyboard and selecting landscape mode. To exit zoom, press the " Aa" key and select " Fit-to-Screen." Zoom in on the document by pressing the " Aa" key on the keyboard, selecting the zoom percentage and using the controller to scan across the document. Open the PDF by clicking on its name on your Kindle's book list. In a few minutes, Amazon will automatically download the PDF file to your Kindle. Click to the second page of " Settings" and look for the " Device E-mail" section. To find your Kindle email address, select " Settings" from the Home menu. Transfer the PDF to your Kindle by emailing the PDF to your Kindle email address. If, after viewing your PDF, you'd like to use Kindle functionality like Text-to-Speech or Annotations, you can select an option to convert the PDF to a Kindle document.
You can zoom in on sections of your document or view the document in landscape mode for easier reading. By transferring the PDF to your Kindle, you can simply open, view and read it as you would any eBook. Besides reading books, use your Kindle 3 to view and transport PDF documents easily.
